Description: Mu Alpha Theta is the national honorary math society. An induction ceremony is held in the fall for qualified students. The club participates in community service and presents the Michael Johnston Memorial scholarship in the spring.

Membership Requirements: Must have completed four semesters of college preparatory mathematics and be currently enrolled in a sixth semester, maintaining a 90 or better average for TAG and Pre-AP classes. Students enrolled in regular mathematics classes must have a 95 or better average.
Meeting Day & Time: Second Wednesday @ 8:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Time Commitment: Half hour meetings, various fund raisers, and school/community service.
Dues: $15.00 for new members and $10.00 per year for old members.
Fund-raiser: Varies from candy to Book Sox.
