Project Graduation has been SAVED. We have received an outpouring of
assistance from the community after the news article ran in the Round
Rock Leader and we are happy to announce that we WILL have a
celebration for the Class of 2013. The event will be happening at the
Williamson County CHASCO YMCA, 1812 North Mays. We are still looking
for more entertainment and volunteers. Please contact us at

you can help. If you would like to register your senior for the event
you can find the registration form on our web site... (working on

LINK CREW

Because we need at least 100 or more junior and senior leaders to work with the 700 or so freshmen converging upon SPHS on August 15th, the Link Crew application deadline has been extended to next Tuesday May 28th, which will be the day of the mandatory informational meeting directly after school in the Amphitheater. Continue to submit your link crew applications to the link crew sponsors - Ms. Johns, Angirasa, Ravdin, Koch, Parkar, and Kariuki. New Link Crew Application drop off places are at the front desk of the counseling office, and the Link Crew table during A and B lunches. The table will also be available at C lunch on Wednesdayand Friday of this week. You can also scan the QR code at the bottom of the flyer, and submit your application on-line.

Seniors: There is MANDATORY Grad Practice next Thursday at 2 pm in the cafeteria!

SAT Word of the Day – WITTICISM [wit-uh-siz-uhm] n. A witty, brilliant, or original saying or sentiment.

Do you speak, read, and write Spanish? If so, you may take the Spanish Credentialing Exam on Wednesday, May 29th immediately after school at 1:30pm with Ms. Vargas in room portable 6A. You can earn credit for Spanish 1 and possibly Spanish 2 by passing this test. You will need to take the test AND then take and pass the next level Spanish class for the credit to appear on your transcript. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.

ATTENTION STEM ACADEMY SENIORS!!!!! If you pre-ordered a graduation stole, it is available to be picked up in Mrs. Fehlis' room, D132. If you haven't ordered one, bring your $15 and take home a stole today!

Seniors, Diploma pick up will be 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 19th June. One final transcript will also be available for purchase and pick up at that time. If you cannot pick up on Wednesday, 19th June Diplomas will be available for pick-up starting Monday, 5th August. Orders for additional copies of your final transcript will be taken (with payment) up until 31st May and then not until 19th June. Transcripts ordered on 19th June will not be available for pick up until Wednesday, 9th July due to the District being closed from Friday, 21st June until Monday, 7th July. All obligations must be cleared before final transcripts will be provided. Through the summer all transcript orders and Diploma/transcript pick-up with be after 1:30 p.m.only due to morning registration. Students (and any parents wishing to pick-up on behalf of their student) must show proof of identification when picking up Diplomas and/or transcripts. If you are leaving the State immediately graduation is over please speak with the Registrar about special arrangements.

PROJECT CARE CASE is a mission that local family, friends and I are dedicated to in helping provide new and age appropriate suitcases-on wheels to each child in foster care. It shall have their names permanently embedded on it. The“Care Case” shall also contain an optional child friendly Bible, socks, underclothing, two changes of clothing, teddy bear and a pillow/blanket of their very own. See Mrs. Parkar in room D-118 to donate items or for more information.

Important notice from Food Services to all students: You must have enough money in your meal account to cover your purchase. PROJECT CARE CASE is a mission that local family, friends and I are dedicated to in helping provide new and age appropriate suitcases-on wheels to each child in foster care. It shall have their names permanently embedded on it. The“Care Case” shall also contain an optional child friendly Bible, socks, underclothing, two changes of clothing, teddy bear and a pillow/blanket of their very own. See Mrs. Parkar in room D-118 to donate items or for more information.

Today is GEN TX (Generation Texas) day. GEN TX day is a statewide effort to congratulate seniors on their successes and support you as you go on to college and begin career training. The faculty and staff of SPHS are proud of your accomplishments, Seniors, and honor you on this special day.

The SAT is here at SPHS this Saturday. You will park in the student lot and enter through the C wing doors near the student parking lot. Remember to bring your admission ticket, photo ID, pencil and a calculator, and a snack if you like. Students without id or admission ticket will not be allowed to test. For any student who has not yet signed up to test, feel free to sign up online on the wait list. We should be able to get you in the morning of the exam.

The Textbook Room is closed today. You can buy prom tickets today from Ms. Baker in B201. Price today $80/$150. Price at the door: $100 per person and you cannot buy a ticket for a non-Stony Point guest at the door. But you will still need photo ID and prom form with appropriate signatures.
