Teacher of the Year for 2009-2010
Hello everyone. My name is
Ronnie Campbell. I have been with the Round Rock
district for 3 1/2 years. I started as a para-
professional and went on to get my certification in
Business Education (6-12). I received my Bachelor of
Science in Business Management from Maryland University
in 2005 and my Texas Certification from Texas State
University.
I work in the ALP classes, ISS/SAC, as a long-term Sub
and with High School Level 0.
My original home of record is Boston, Mass but Texas
became my home after retiring from the U.S. Army, Ft.
Hood, Texas.
I love what I do at the Opportunity Center especially
teaching Life Skills and helping students to meet the
challenges in their everyday life. |
Powered By The Sun: RROC Receives
Partners In Education Grant

Brian LeBansky, Dominic Perez,
Kenneth Carson, Lisa Blair, and Ellen Blumberg received an
$823.28 Excellence in Education Grant from the Round Rock
ISD Partners in Education Foundation. The grant, "Powered by
the Sun," will be used to provide a project based learning
experience for middle and high school science students about
renewable sources of energy. Students will learn by
designing, building, and testing their own solar powered
vehicles. The grant is part of a larger effort underway at
the Opportunity Center to teach students to make
environmentally friendly choices about their personal,
school, and community's use of energy in the future.
