Behavior Management System

The Round Rock Opportunity Center has implemented a level system based on points which the student must earn in order to progress to the next level and to complete his/her assigned time.  Students must earn their points each day by adhering to the rules.  If a student is assigned in-school suspension and causes a disruption, that student may be suspended for a period of 1-3 days.

Level I:
A student must complete at least 120 points before advancing to Level II. (A student may be able to exit Level I after 3 perfect days.) Loss of points during the first 3 days will result in a minimum stay of 6 days. Success is measured by accumulation of points on a daily point card
.

GUIDELINES
1. Assigned seating in the classroom.
2. Escorted to and from lunch.
3. Students are permitted to have 2 breaks per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon).

PRIVILEGES
1. Five minutes free time at completion of assignments.
2. Completion of required points - students move to Level II.

Level II:
After completing Level I, the student's points will be carried forward to Level II and a minimum of 1080* points must be earned before returning to home campus.  Success is measured by accumulation of points on a daily point card.

Students assigned for 30 days must earn a minimum of 1,080 points.
Students assigned for 45 days must earn a minimum of 1,620 points.

GUIDELINES
1. Transfer from Level I room.
2. Regular lunch in the cafeteria.
3. Assigned seats in the classroom (teacher discretion)

PRIVILEGES
Upon completion of required points, student will exit to home campus.

Level ZERO:
Level Zero placement will be determined on a student-by-student basis according to the grade level Assistant Principal. Students already in Level I or Level II may also be assigned to Level Zero due to persistent misbehavior. Students who are placed in SAC may be reassigned to Level Zero.

Super SAC:
Students who are reassigned to the DAEP within 15 days of their
release will automatically be assigned to Super SAC.

GUIDELINES
1. Assigned seating in the classroom.
2. Lunch in the SAC classroom.
3. Students are permitted to have 2 breaks per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon).

PRIVILEGES
