OUR MISSION
The mission of the Round Rock Opportunity Center is to provide a
safe environment where instruction is geared to produce
life-long learners and responsible citizens who are able to
successfully compete in a challenging, changing world.
OUR VISION
The Round Rock Opportunity
Center will provide engaged learning that supports and
reinforces the educational efforts and goals of our ten
middle schools and five high schools

Payne Teacher of the Year for 2013-14
Chad Payne has been
named Round Rock Opportunity Center's Teacher of the
Year for 2013-14. He’s a High School Math
instructor and teaches Algebra I and Math Models.
Mr.
Payne graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma
in 2008 and is in his fifth year of teaching, all at the
RROC. Previously,
he worked construction as a pipefitter, ironworker, and
welder. Mr. Payne
comes from a family of educators.
His dad teaches engineering and physics, his aunt
teaches biology, and his mom is an elementary principal.
Mr.
Payne enjoys working with kids and trying to “make a
difference” in their lives.
He is very proud of his daughter, Abby, an 8th
grader at Deer Park and is grateful to be a member of
the best staff in the best district in Texas!
