Graduation Information - 2010
MONITORING REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
- Correspondence or Credit by Exam courses or tests. Test results must be in the registrars office by Monday, May 17th for graduation.
- Seniors taking Credit Plus classes do no have a course name or grade reflection on their report card. Parents will need to confirm with the guidance counselor the name of the course/s and the status of the course work in those classes.
- Dual Credit taken at ACC must be transferred to RRHS by Monday, May 17. Students must order a transcript from ACC to be forwarded to Mrs. Kathy Hatcher, Registrar, to be posted on the students transcript or brought in by student in official envelope. ACC will not release grades to our school in any other manner.
- Grade averaging to obtain a full credit for graduation requirements. RRISD allows us to grade average first semester with second semester in a course. If the average is 70, a full credit is given for the year. An example is: Algebra 2A 68 and Algebra 2B 72 = 1 full credit. Many students are in this situation and need a reminder that simply a 70 this semester will not be passing.
TRANSCRIPTS
- Transcript includes class rank, GPA, & Graduation Plan
- Cost: $3.00 per copy
- Students should order 5 final transcripts. One should be sent to the college or university they are attending and the other 4 for personal use.
- Transcript request forms may be obtained in the registrars office or online. To access an online transcript form go to www.roundrockisd.org/rrhs, then click on Parents & Students, then Transcript Request on the menu.
