Description: NSHS is an organization that recognizes excellence of Spanish language students.

Membership requirements: Encourages students to maintain high averages; Spanish II: 95 for 3 semesters of study; Spanish III: 93 for 5 semesters of study; and Spanish IV & V: 90 for 7 to 9 semesters of study. Freshmen are not eligible.

Meeting day and time: announced 2 weeks prior to meeting

Minimum attendance: None

Time commitment: Varies with time of year

Dues: $6.00

Fund-raiser: Yearly bake sale, garage sale, etc. This money goes for senior scholarship and for expenses for induction.

Additional information: Once inducted, student remains a member. Scholarships are awarded on point basis, which is cumulative through senior year.
