We C.A.R.E. Expectations:
Beginning of the Day Expecations:
-
Buses drop off on the South side of the school.
Parents drop students off on the North Side of the school.
-
The school building will open at 7:00 am, at that
time all students must enter the building through the car rider
entrance on the north side of campus. Students are not allowed
to stay outside without authorized supervision after this time.
-
Students may enter the building through the main
doors after 7:30 am, including the bus area, the front of the
building and the car rider area.
-
Any students riding "wheels" to school need to
secure the "wheels" either outside (bicycles) or in their lockers
(skateboards). Once on school property "wheels" are not
allowed to be ridden.
-
Students sit quietly in assigned grade-level
areas until the 8:03 bell. Sixth grade students sit in the
upper commons closest to the library, seventh graders will sit on
the steps in the middle commons and eight graders will sit on the
cafeteria tables in the lower commons. Students with a written pass
from a parent or faculty member may leave to attend morning
activities such as club meetings and tutorials.

Students needing to go to the Library may do so
beginning at 7:45am. If you go to the library, you must stay
in the library until the 8:03 bell.

The cafeteria will be open to serve breakfast
beginning at 7:45am. Students may report to the cafeteria at
that time.

After the 8:03 am bell, all students have 7
minutes to go to their lockers and report to advisory by 8:10 am.

Students entering the building at or after 8:10
am must go to the attendance window to get a "Late Entry Pass."
This pass will allow the student to go directly to the classroom or
the cafeteria for breakfast.

Students eating breakfast should go straight
to the cafeteria.
-
Students not eating breakfast, students
should get their materials for the day and go to class.
-
All students are expected to be in Advisory at
8:10 am.
Morning Cafeteria Expectations:
-
Students must walk to and from the cafeteria in
an orderly fashion.
-
Students are expected to stand and wait in line
respectfully, keeping hand, feet and other objects to yourself.
-
Once you have gotten your tray of food, walk to
your seat.
-
Seats are on a first come, first serve basis.
-
Students should expect to stay in the cafeteria
until dismissed at 8:03 am.
Hallway Expectations:
-
Walk on the right side of the hallway.
-
Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
-
Use inside voice level and school appropriate
language.
-
Use lockers only during designated passing
periods.
-
Respond respectfully to ALL adult redirection.
-
Electronic Devices (i.e. cell phones) must e "off
and stored in lockers. If used while in school, it will be
taken to the office to be picked up by a parent for a fee of $15.
Locker Expectations
-
No sharing lockers or your combinations!
-
Empty lockers are not to be used.
-
Lockers are assigned by the office.
-
Maintain clean lockers to stay organized.
-
Backpack passes (for those without lockers) must
be visible at all times.
-
All books should have book covers.
Tardy Policy
-
3 TARDIES = DETENTION
-
4 TARDIES = DETENTION
5+ = OFFICE REFERRAL
Note:
All detentions will be held after school.
Dress Code Expectations:
-
Pants must be pulled up to or above waistlines.
-
Girls wear tops that covers chest and falls below
the waist.
-
Hair colors must be natural
Bathroom Expectations:
-
Restrooms are to be used during passing periods.
Students may use the closest student restroom during this time.
-
During class periods, students will have 3 passes
per class, per semester to exit the classroom.
-
Students may not exit class
at all the during the first 10 minutes or
last 10 minutes of class.
-
Passes and restrooms are COLOR-coded. Use
assigned restroom. You must have a pass.
-
Students must return with the pass in a
reasonable amount of time.
-
In the Bathroom:
Cafeteria and Lunch Expectations:
-
Bring lunches to the class before lunch.
-
Sit in assigned team area until released by lunch
monitor to get lunch.
-
Lunch monitor will release you by table to return
to class.
-
Remain seated unless walking with a purpose: i.e.
throwing away trash, cleaning up spills, going to the restroom.
-
Speak with an inside voice.
-
Consume all food and drinks in the cafeteria.
-
Clean up your area and place all food and drinks
in the trash can.
Library Expectations:
-
Respect People - be polite and considerate.
-
Respect Materials - books, AV equipment,
magazines and computers.
-
No food, drink or gum!
-
Always come with a pass.
-
Computers are for school-related searching only.
-
Feel free to ask questions!
Computer Lab Expectations:
-
Teacher must be present to enter the lab.
-
No gum, food, or drink in the lab.
-
Personal belongings should remain on the floor.
-
Use time to complete assigned task.
-
Clean up after yourself.
-
Respect all computer equipment and people.
Only touch the computer assigned to you.
-
Log off computers at tend of period and shut down
at the end of the day.
Assembly Expectations:
-
Sit in assigned area

Focus on speaker

Applaud appropriately
After School Expectations:
At 3:30 pm student will begin exiting the building.
-
Students are responsible for bringing their
materials with them at the end of the day. The hall doors will
be locked at 3:40 pm.
-
Any student attending after school activities
(clubs/tutorials) report to the cafeteria by 3:40 pm.
-
At 3:45 pm, student in the cafeteria should
expect club sponsor or teacher to pick them up for tutoring or club
activities.
-
All students exiting the campus after 3:40 pm,
must exit through the cafeteria.
-
Students may call home from a classroom when
finished with an afterschool activity. A pass will be given to
the student to allow them to re-enter the cafeteria in order to
leave the school.
-
Students may not hang out in front of the school
after school hours, All students are expected to leave campus or
report to the cafeteria.
Bus Expectations:
-
Have your ID at all times (starting week 3).
-
Students need to have an ID to get on the late
bus.
-
Sit in assigned seats and sit correctly in
assigned seat.
-
Keep voices down. No profanity!
-
No throwing objects, shoving or hitting.
-
Possible loss of bus privileges if you can't
follow the rules.
