We C.A.R.E. Expectations:
Beginning of the Day Expectations:

Building opens at 7:00am — if you are here you must
enter.

7:00am, Car Rider door is open on the North side of the
building.

7:30am, all main doors are open.
-
After arriving on school property, “wheels†may
not be ridden. (skateboards, bicycles)
-
Secure “wheels†properly when on campus.
-
Sit quietly in your grade-level area until the 8:03am
bell

grade Upper Commons, 7th grade Lower Commons Stairs, and 8th
grade Lower Commons

Remain seated until the bell rings
-
A pass from you teacher or parent is required to attend
morning tutorials or morning meeting.

Electronic devices (i.e. cell phones) may be use
OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. If used while during school, it will be
taken to the office. Your
parent may pick it up and pay a fee of $15.
-
The Library opens at 7:45am. You will not be permitted to
leave until the 8:03am bell.
-
All students are expected to be in Advisory by 8:10am.
-
To enter school after 8:10am, go to the attendance window
to get a LATE ENTRY PASS. This pass
will either say “To Cafeteria†or “To class.â€
Morning Cafeteria Expectations:
-
ONLY for those who want to eat breakfast.
-
Breakfast begins at 7:45am
-
Doors will be closed at 8:00am
-
WALK with a purpose to and from the cafeteria in an
ORDERLY fashion.
-
Stand and wait in line respectfully, keeping hands, feet,
and objects to yourself.
-
Walk to your seat with your food.
-
Seats are “first come, first serve.â€
-
Clean-up your area by throwing away your trash & cleaning
up any spills.
Hallway Expectations:

WALK & TALK
-
Be Polite, Walk On The Right!

KEEP HANDS, FEET, BODY PARTS, & OBJECTS TO YOURSELF.
-
Use inside voice level and school appropriate language.
-
Electronic devices and accessories (i.e. cell phones,
ipods) must be “off†& stored. If used or seen while during school, it will
be taken to the office.
Your parent may pick it up and pay a fee of $15.

Respond respectfully to ALL adult re-direction.
Locker & Backpack Expectations:
-
No sharing lockers or your combinations!
-
Empty lockers are not to be used.
-
Maintain clean lockers to stay organized.
-
Backpack passes must be visible at all times!
-
All books must have book covers!
Tardy Policy

TARDIES = DETENTION

4 TARDIES = DETENTION

5+ = OFFICE REFERRAL
Note: All
detentions will be held after school.
Dress Code Expectations:
-
Pants pulled up to or above waistlines. Your name will be
documented when you receive a dress code citation.

Repeat offenders – beware.
-
Girls- tops must cover the chest and fall below the
waist. Ladies please follow the finger-length rule for shorts and skirts.

Hair color must be natural.

Bathroom Expectations:
-
You will have 3 passes per class, per semester used to
exit the class.
-
Passes and restrooms are COLOR- coded. Use assigned
restroom.
-
You must sign-out before leaving the classroom.
-
You must have a pass.
-
Students may not exit class at all during first 10
minutes or last 10 minutes of class.
-
Return with the pass & sign-in, in a reasonable amount of
time.

In the bathroom
Cafeteria and Lunch Expectations:
-
Walk to designated area and sit down.
-
Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
-
Wait quietly until a lunch monitor dismisses you to get
in the food lines.
-
Proceed in an orderly fashion to get your food.
-
Remain seated unless walking with a purpose: i.e.
throwing away trash, cleaning up spills, going to restroom.
-
Use inside voices and appropriate language.
-
Clean the table and your area before being dismissed by a
monitor.
-
As a reward for C.A.R.E.ing in the cafeteria, you may
earn the opportunity to “Mix-It Upâ€!

Library Expectations:
-
Respect for People
-
Respect for Materials —books, AV and equipment,
magazines, computers.
-
Always come with a pass during class time.
-
Computers are for school-related searching only.
-
Feel free to ask questions !
Computer Lab Expectations:
-
Teacher must be present to enter the lab.
-
No gum, food, or drink in the lab.
-
Personal belongings should remain on the floor.
-
Use time to complete assigned task.
-
Clean up after yourself.
-
Respect all computer equipment and people. Only
touch the computer assigned to you.
-
Log off computers at tend of period and shut down at the
end of the day.
Assembly Expectations:
After School Expectations:
-
3:30pm Students need to exit building.
-
Students are responsible for bringing their materials
with them at the end of the day.
The hall doors will be locked at 3:40pm.
-
Electronic devices (i.e. cell phones) may be use
OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. If used while during school, it will be
taken to the office. Your
parent may pick it up and pay a fee of $15.

Any student attending after school activities
(clubs/tutorials) report to the cafeteria by 3:40pm.

Proceed in a responsible & orderly fashion to your
destination.
-
Students in the cafeteria should expect a club sponsor or
a teacher to pick them up by 3:45pm.
-
Sit and wait quietly in your designated area until your
group is called or your ride is here.
-
In case you fail to follow the expectations, (i.e. not
sitting in the proper area and you miss your teacher) then the privilege of
attending after school activities may be forfeited.

After Activity is Over:
-
You may call home from a classroom when finished with an
after school activity (club / tutorial).
-
A pass will be given to you to re-enter the cafeteria in
order to leave the school.
-
You must receive a late bus pass from your teacher /
club sponsor to ride the 5:00pm bus.
-
When returning to the cafeteria to wait for your ride /
late bus…
-
Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

Use inside voices and appropriate language.
-
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. at all times.
Bus Expectations:
-
Have your ID at all times (starting week 3).
-
Students need to have an ID to get on the late bus.
-
Sit in assigned seats and sit correctly in assigned seat.
-
Keep voices down. No profanity!
-
No throwing objects, shoving or hitting.
-
Possible loss of bus privileges if you can't follow the
rules.
