END OF YEAR REMINDERS:
Books
are due! All textbooks and library books should be turned in
at this time. Seventh grade students will not be allowed to
attend the reward trip on May 21st if they have outstanding books. Textbooks
should be returned to Nancy Kelly in the front office and all library books to the library.
Locker Cleanout: All lockers need to be emptied and locks
removed by Friday, May 18th. Any items left in the lockers on Monday will
be trashed as we work on changing locker combinations next week.

Yearbooks are still available, but they are going fast. They are $42 and
can be purchased during lunches on the stairs or during advisory in room
567. Get yours quick!

Event - May 2nd -
Through several fundraisers, the RMS students and staff have raised
funds for the Books2Kids effort for the Dell Children's Hospital. On Wednesday,
May 2 during the campus Literary Olympics, Mr. B'Smith got a pie in the face as
part of the fundraising efforts. Thank you Mr. B'Smith for taking one for
the children who are served by Dell Children's Hospital!

Summer Weight and Speed Camps - The RRISD
Athletic Department and Cedar Ridge are offering a Summer Weight and Speed Camp
for students entering 7th grade through 12the grade. The camps costs $125 and
registration must be received by May 18th.

Grade Reward Trip - May 21st to Main Event - RMS is
planning a 7th grade reward trip for the end of the year to Main Event.
Students must meet the criteria,, return a permission slip and pay the
$35 entry fee. For more details
