Student Council Plants Trees
On April 27th, the Live Oak Student
Council planted trees in honor of Arbor Day at Lake Creek Park in
Round Rock. They planted over 75 new trees!

Attendance and Tardy Information
Attendance is taken when the attendance bell rings at 9am. Students
not in attendance will be counted absent. Students out temporarily during the school day due
to appointments with health care professionals must have a doctor's note to be admitted or
re-admitted to school. The doctor's note must be presented at the time of admittance to keep
your child from being counted absent if the appointment falls during the attendance time of 9am.
Students who arrive after 7:45am need to be signed in by an adult. Our Safe and Secure doors lock
at 7:45am and remain locked until 2:45pm. Students will not be able to go to their classroom after
7:45am without walking through the office.

Volunteer at Live Oak!
Anyone who wishes to volunteer at a Round Rock ISD campus at ANY time
during this school year (including fieldtrips) will need to complete an updated criminal background
check. Even those who completed a check last year must do so again in compliance with Texas law.
Don't forget to indicate which campus you wish to volunteer at on your application.

winner in the Fuel Up to Play 60 Physical Activity Skit Student Challenge.

School Crossing Guard Needed
The City of Austin is looking for a school
crossing guard for the corner of Anderson Mill Road and Broadmeade.
The position pays $10 per hour, with no benefits. If you are interested, please
contact Esperanza Schiele at 565-5623.
