Alternatives to Utilize vs. The Parent Pick Up Area
Desserts needed! This Friday, PTA is hosting a luncheon for teachers. We are in need of desserts for our staff of almost 200. If you would like to donate a dessert, please send it to school or drop it off at the office on Friday morning. Store-bought or home-baked are welcomed. If you would like to help with serving at the event anytime from 10am to 2pm, please email bonneproofs@sbcglobal.net.

DO YOU LIKE SOCCER OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES?
Hopewell has started an intramural soccer team and we need coaches to oversee the games and practice after school two days a week. We have two shifts, one from 3:45 to 4:45 and another from 4:45 to 5:45. We also need some people to be referees. If you can help us, please contact Steve Gradney or Chris Warren at 464-5200 OR email Bonne Sandars at
bonne_sandars@roundrockisd.org. We have over 200 students interested so we are looking for at least 30 people to help out. This could be a great corporate volunteer event too, if your office is interested.Annual testing for the Talented and Gifted Program
Parents are welcomed to nominate their children for the Talented and Gifted Program during the month of November. Applications are available from Tom Dunn 8th grade counselor and are due December 1st. Testing will take place in late January with possible placement for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
