Lego Robotics Club
Designing, building and programming Lego
robots is a result of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics) initiative. The purpose of our club is to expose our
students to real life usage of science, technology, engineering and
math. The goal is to increase the number of students who major in these
fields in college. One major part of our club is the participation in
First Lego League (FLL) competition. FLL allows students to be exposed
to all the fundamentals we want our students to learn in our club. It
also gives our students an opportunity to become aware of environmental
issues facing our world today, to become a part of finding solutions and
to have an opportunity to facilitate change.
