The Foundation raises hundreds of thousands of dollars annually through a
variety of special events and the generosity of corporate and individual donors.
Annual Golf Tournament
The Annual Round Rock ISD Partners in
Education Foundation Golf Tournament is held each Fall. Due to
the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, the Foundation
raises funds to benefit RRISD students and teachers through
programs such as Innovative Teaching Grants, Teacher
Excellence Awards, and supporting New Directions and New
Horizons.
The Foundation also supports the annual free school supplies
drive and George Mooney Memorial Student
Scholarships for graduating high school senior dedicated to
community service.

The Round Rock ISD Partners in
Education Education
Foundation will host its annual Gala during Spring 2008 at the
Austin Marriott North in Round Rock.
Proceeds from the Gala will
support RRISD programs and projects that enrich and enhance
the quality of education for all students in the district. The
Foundation funds programs that assist
students in financial need; recognize and reward exemplary
teaching; and offer scholarships for graduating seniors who
demonstrate commitment to community service.
Generous support for the event
is provided by numerous business sponsors. Numerous other
businesses and individuals support the Gala by attending the
event and donating and purchasing auction items.
Teacher Excellence Awards
Annual recognition of exemplary teachers through Campus and
Teacher Excellence Awards. Honorees are selected using the
Texas Education Agency (TEA) Teacher of the Year application
process. Each Campus Teacher of the Year receives a cash prize
of $100 from the Foundation and the two District Teachers of
the Year each receive an additional $500.
