Nanette Deaton- Assistant Principal I am a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and I received two master's degrees in Guidance/Counseling and Educational Administration from University of Houston-Victoria. I taught language arts for grades 6-8 and worked as the elementary counselor in Goliad ISD. Upon arriving in RRISD, I worked at Hopewell Middle School as a counselor and an asst. principal. I arrived at CTMS in November 2007, and I love working with CTMS students and staff. My husband, Andrew, is working for the Department of Defense in Iraq, and we have three beautiful children, Macy, Duncan, and Preston. I enjoy running, reading, and planning the next family vacation. |

Christopher Teter - Assistant Principal I am a graduate of Texas Lutheran University with a degree in Psychology, as well as a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas State University. I taught special education at the high school level for eight years prior to coordinating the GOALS program for RRISD. I was excited to become an Assistant Principal at CTMS in August 2007. My favorite aspect of education is interacting with the students and helping them become productive, successful young adults. Last March, I celebrated my ten year anniversary with my wonderful wife, Anna, and am the proud father of two beautiful children, Sarah and Matthew. Community, family and education are what it is all about. |
