Information and Procedures

Checkout Policy A student may check out three books at a time. These books have a three week loan privilege. Students may also borrow books from other RRISD schools. A student MUST have his/her student ID in order to check out materials. Any student with overdue books MAY NOT check out additional materials until the book is paid for or returned. Students with long overdue books will be not be allowed to attend School Socials. Books that are lost or damaged by a student must be paid in full.

Internet Access Students may access the Internet unless a Internet Denial Form is signed by parents. Students' IDs will have an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) designation. If a student is accessing the Internet in an inappropriate manner, his/her privilege will be restricted or denied (See Appendix B for District guidelines.)

Student ID Cards Each student is provided an ID without charge upon enrollment at CTMS. While on school property, students must have an ID in their possession and furnish it to all district employees and any law enforcement officer upon request in accordance with Texas Law. Students are asked to retain their IDs over the summer. The cost of a replacement ID is $5.00.
