My name is Liz, and I’m an artist at Chisholm Trail Middle School. My art is based on my life; my experiences and feelings towards life, love, family, friends, truth, trust, and passion. I mostly enjoy abstract and surreal art and I try to incorporate as many different and vibrant colors as possible. I love elegance, but I also enjoy exaggeration and boldness just as much. I create pieces that include these components because it gives everyone a little piece of me that I give them. I let go and be myself in my art. For me, it’s hard to do that anywhere else. I think I’ve grown this year in drawing, sculpting, and overall taking my time instead of just waiting for the teacher to tell me I’m done. My struggles this year would have to be trying to find something to draw, paint, etc, but when I get an idea, I’m on a roll. Enjoy my artwork. |
