From our Principal
Hello Jaguars and Jaguar Parents & Guardians!
Some of you have probably heard that we are losing our 7th grade assistant principal, Matt Groff. Mr. Groff was also scheduled to work with half of this year's 6th grade class. Mr. Groff joined the Cedar Valley staff as an assistant principal in July of 2002, and he has been an outstanding member of our faculty since then. He will be missed here, but while we are sad to see him leave Cedar Valley, we are very excited that he has decided to take the next step in his career by gaining more experience as a secondary administrator at the high school level. Mr. Groff will be moving to Westwood High School and joining the staff as an assistant principal there. They are fortunate to get him! If you would like to send Mr. Groff an e-mail to wish him well and thank him for his service to Cedar Valley, you may do so by sending it to matt_groff@roundrockisd.org. A new 6th/7th grade assistant principal will be named before the new school year starts on August 26th so stay tuned for that announcement. Maybe now my volleyball team will finally win the trophy at the faculty/student volleyball game!!!
