Cedar Valley Middle School is excited to introduce a new tool designed to increase the safety of your children and our school this year.  The Raptor V-Soft visitor management system will keep campus safer by producing uniform badges for all visitors, monitoring volunteer hours, and electronically checking all visitors against registered sexual offender databases.  This exceptional safety measure is part of a federal Safe Schools/Healthy Students grant.

All visitors (including parents/guardians) will be required to present one of the following forms of identification for scanning:

• Valid driver’s license
• Official state photo identification card from any state and many countries
• Military identification card.

Raptor will help us keep potentially dangerous people away from our school, and your cooperation will help ensure the safety of all our students.
