Canyon Vista Middle School ElectivesMustang Discovery

Mustang Discovery is a three-part program that all 6th Graders participate in. Each student will be given one full week of Study Skills the first week of school, and will receive a planner. This first week will focus on important skills in using the planner and skills necessary for middle school. The rest of these necessary programs will be taught on a rotating basis throughout 6th grade.
Leadership/CybersmartInstructor: Denae Schwab
The leadership class will provide students with principals to improve self-image, build friendships, resist peer pressure, and achieve goals. Students will accomplish this through a study of Steven R. Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens."
