Watch D.O.G.S. Program

Purpose

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security.

Watch D.O.G.S. is a coalition member of the National PTA program, PTA MORE (Men Organized to Raise Engagement).

Thursday, September 17 - Calling all Dads!

Our first WatchDOGS gathering is coming up. Bring the kids for pizza and to watch our Canyon Vista girl's volleyball team. We will eat in the library from 6:00-6:30, then we will hold a general meeting which should last approximately 45 minutes while the kids watch the game.

We love having our Dads being seen around campus. It does not require much time and we appreciate any talents you can share! Last year we had Dads present at our extracurricular activities, building IKEA furniture, monitoring the halls and just enjoying assisting our students. We can use you for an hour or a whole day.

If you plan to attend the meeting, please RSVP with how many people plan to attend to Lisa Greinert at Lisa_Greinert@RoundRockisd.org.
