How to Join

Welcome to a new and exciting school year!!

                                    Please join the CVMS PTA for 2009-2010!!

                                                          PTA's greatest resource is our membership!

Across the nation, the face of PTA is changing. Inclusiveness is key to the success of PTA on all levels. The goal of the CVMS PTA is to have representation and voice from ALL facets of our community – working moms AND dads, stay at home parents, grandparents, parents from all nationalities, teachers, administrators, mentors and guardians.

For less than 5 cents per school day, your membership dues have a positive impact on your child’s school experience. Even if you cannot volunteer time, each member registered increases our voice in legislation that affects children and those who care for them. We strongly encourage you and any adult members of your family to become a part of our dynamic PTA.

You will also have greater access to:

• Parent involvement resources
• A community of like minded parents
• Legislative advocacy on educational issues
• Volunteer opportunities throughout the school year

DUES: PTA Membership dues are only $8.00 per adult member!

DONATION: To avoid fundraising during the school year, CVMS PTA is asking for an optional donation* per family.

How To Join

Choose one of the following methods to join PTA.  You can help the PTA by testing the new on-line registration which provides better accuracy of data and reduces the number of volunteer hours needed to manually enter the data.

1. On-Line
1. Sign up for directory and general PTA information.
2. Sign up to become a member of the PTA, advertise in the directory, and/or volunteer.
3. Send in your check as for the Paper Form below.
2. Paper Form
   1. Fill out the all-in-one membership form from the 1st day packet (or print it using the links below).
   2. Make your check payable to CVMS PTA (include your driver's license number).
   3. Enclose the check in a sealed envelope with PTA Membership written on the outside.
   4. Have your student turn in the envelope to their Advisory teacher before October 9.
