Dec. 4, 2008 - The district is currently accepting applications for citizens interested in serving on a Citizen’s Boundary Committee to review proposed boundary adjustments to elementary, middle and high school campuses for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 school years and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding those proposed adjustments.

The Citizen’s Boundary Committee will be comprised of 14 members and a committee chairperson. The committee chairperson will be appointed by the Board President from a pool of candidates submitted by members of the board.

Membership in the committee will be representative of the community. Seven members of the committee will be nominated by the Board of Trustees individually and will be active members of the PTA, Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation or a site-based committee.

The remaining seven members of the committee will be chosen from applications solicited from the Round Rock ISD community. All remaining members of the committee will be appointed by the Superintendent. The committee membership will be balanced among the current high school feeder patterns and shall function as an administrative committee.
