| The
Cactus Ranch Math Pentathlon Club is gearing up for another fun
season! We will be learning problem solving games while
developing and practicing math concepts and skills. Spatial,
geometric, scientific, and algebraic are just a few of the
skills that are incorporated into these games. We encourage
friendly competition with great emphasis on good sportsmanship.

WOW - all this and we still have FUN!! Look for information to come home in the Tuesday folders regarding registration for the Cactus Ranch Math Pentathlon Club. Our classes will begin September 15th. We will be enrolling 140 students this year. If we reach maximum capacity we will put you on a waiting list and notify you. Chances are high that we will max out so we thank you in advance for your patience. Because of available space, games/materials, and volunteers, the divisions are limited to 20 students per class. Help! My child wants to play the MP games but couldn't join the official club. – The games are available for purchase through the website above for school or home use. We encourage parents to look at that alternative to give their children the opportunity to play the games at home. Meeting days: All divisions meet Mondays from 2:45 – 4:00. Tournament dates : Division I – March 28, 2009 – Austin ISD Burger Center Division II – April 4, 2009 – Austin ISD Delco Center Division III – May 2, 2009 – Austin ISD Delco Center
