Reading Program Procedures Students in grades 2-5 read and earn points by taking Accelerated Reader tests on the books they read. Every 10 points the students can earn a reading recognition tag. Below are images of the tags for each grade level. There are special recognition tags for 50, 100, and 200 points. At 300 points students may design their own custom tag. Students earn an audio tape coupon to check out an audio tape at the following intervals: 25, 50, 75, 120, 140, 160, 180, 220, 240, 260, etc. Bluebonnet books: For every 5 Bluebonnet books students receive a Bluebonnet recognition tag.
