2. Follow Austin Regional Science Guidelines http://www.sciencefest.org/pdfs/ElemRulesForParticipation.pdf
Pay special attention to the display guidelines. For example, do not bring any liquids, fragile, or expensive items for use in your display. Instead, plan on photographing your project steps that may require these elements and display them on your project board.

3. Bring your completed tri-fold display board (36”x48”) to school on your class’ assigned project due date (January 26, 27, or 28). Do not put your name on the front of the board, instead fill out the form on the bottom and attach it to the back of your display board. Fill in your project type: Classification, Exhibit, or Experiment. These project types are explained from the Austin Regional Science Fair website http://www.sciencefest.org/pdfs/ElemRulesForParticipation.pdf

Information to print and attach to back of each student project:

Judging:
Students will be called from their class during their assigned judging day to be interviewed by 3 volunteer judges. Help your student be prepared to describe why they selected their project, what question they were asking or what they wanted to understand, steps they used to create their projects, etc. Unfortunately, due to the number of students and projects, parents will not be able to be present during the student interviews with judges.

We have spots open for judges, if you are interested in volunteering, please send an email to science.fair@crepta.org including your name, phone number, and times you are available January 26, 27, or 28.
