Found: Phase 1
(October 6, 6:45-8:00pm)
Found: Phase 2
(November 11, during lunches)

Objective: Build a time machine like the one in Found.

1. Participants will form 10 teams.
2. Name your time machine
3. Draw a diagram and label its parts - your time machine must have:
   a) a place for time travelers to sit,
   b) an input device to tell the time machine where (when?) you want it to go,
   c) a safety feature in case of emergency crash landings,
   d) style features to set your time machine apart from the others.
4. Build the time machine according to your diagram using the materials provided (you may bring your own)

Materials:
butcher paper
boxes
tape
markers
scissors
construction paper
cardboard tubes
bottles
milk jugs
bubble wrap
plastic
Objective: Design a missing poster of yourself - what if you were one of the missing?

1. The LBI Director will take a photo of you
2. Write
MISSING at the top of a sheet of manila construction paper
3. Set a reward (what would people pay to get you back? Is it in dollars? Pesos? Pounds?
4. Draw your body (think about the time period you're missing from. What would you wear? Are you a missing prince or princess? An Aztec warrior? An Egyptian Pharaoh? A pilgrim?)
5. Write a description of yourself
6. When were you last seen? What were you doing?

Materials:
manila paper
scissors
markers
photo of face
clothing/costume books
glue sticks
