On behalf of the Cactus Ranch PTA, I would like to welcome you and your family to the 2008-2009 school year!  I hope that everyone had a memorable summer.  We are excited about this coming school year.  Cactus Ranch and PTA have some great events planned that will help give each of the children, teachers, staff members and parents of CRE a great sense of school and community pride.  We hope that each of you will join us throughout this year at all of our school and family events. 

As parents, it is very important that we be involved in our children’s education.  The Cactus Ranch Elementary PTA helps promote the partnership between students, parents, teachers and the community.  We serve as an advocate on behalf of our children for public education and in the governmental arena.  The PTA also assists parents in developing skills they need to raise and protect their children as well as provide opportunities to volunteer at our school. 

The PTA’s budget is based solely on membership dues, school-wide fundraisers and tax-deductible donations.  I encourage you to become an active participant in our school & community by becoming a member of the CRE PTA!  You can support our efforts by participating in fundraisers, purchasing spirit wear, and volunteering at many of the school-wide events, such as the Hoedown.
