Library Procedures
Students in grades 1-5 may check out two books. Books are due back in two weeks, but students are encouraged to return at any time to get another book. Students in grades 2-5 may also check out one magazine. Kindergarten students may check out one book, and are encouraged to get another book every day.
Our online catalog can be accessed from anywhere in the world.

Texas Bluebonnet Reading Program
All students in grades 3-6 have the opportunity to participate in the Texas Bluebonnet Reading Program. To participate, each student must read or have read to him/her 5 of the 20 books on the selected list. Then the student will vote for his/her favorite book in January. The author of the book receiving the most votes will be honored at the Texas Library Association's annual meeting in the spring. You may see a list of this year's nominees, lists from previous years, as well as the past winners at the Bluebonnet website.

Students can also earn Bluebonnet dog tags for reading five Bluebonnet books and passing the AR test for each book.  Up to 4 dog tags can can be earned each year.
