Camp Invention
What are you doing this summer? Why not spend a week at
the Camp Invention
program where you will crash land on an alien planet and
need to figure out how to get home? Or, build a roller
coaster that's never before been invented or ridden!
Or, save a polluted town from its own bad habits! Join
us for a week of the most amazing, thought-provoking fun
of the summer at the Camp Invention program! This week,
why don't you practice your inventing skills by building
your first robot? Tape together an egg carton
as a body, two craft sticks as arms, and two toilet
paper tubes as feet. Add other recyclable materials to
give the robot your own unique touch! Practice your
building and thinking skills to get ready for this
summer's Camp Invention program!

at Cactus Ranch

End of School Meal Account
Policy
Beginning April 30th, your student must have enough
money in his or her meal account to cover purchase of
breakfast, lunch, or a la carte items. During May, any
student who does not have enough money in his or her
meal account will be given an alternate lunch (cheese
sandwich and milk) and not allowed to charge an unpaid
meal to their account.
If your student’s meal account currently has an
outstanding balance, it must be paid by Friday, May
25th. Money can be added to a student’s meal account
through the last day of school. Funds remaining in the
account will be carried into the 2012-13 school year.
Account balances can be viewed at
www.paypams.com. If
you have additional questions please contact the
cafeteria manager.
New Student Registration- Please stop in
to register your child for the 2011-12 school year. Our
offices will be open from 7:30 - 4:00pm
to help you with the registration process.
RRISD Registration Required Documents
Home Access for Berkman Parents with
the completion of an application to acquire a username
and password, you will have internet access to view your
child's classes, attendance data, discipline incidents,
student progress and nine-week grades.

is an online publication providing
e-mail subscribers with regular updates about the many
initiatives, programs, events, and activities available
on our campus. Please sign up for our

Visiting Campus?
To ensure the safety of our students, Berkman has a
Raptor system for all adults that enter campus. In order
to go to any classroom, adults need to show ID and
register electronically. This applies to classrooms in
portables as well.
Online Volunteer Application
Bring Your Box Tops
Please collect
box tops and send them in to
school with your child. Your
box tops help the school earn money
for supplies. Please turn them in to your child's
homeroom teacher.
