Wurstfest
Wurstfest is an annual German "culture" festival, held in nearby New Braunfels.

National German Honor Society
Students who have completed three semesters of German while maintaining a 93 or above average are eligible to become members of the National German Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Phi.

Competitions
For many German club participants the annual German academic competitions need patient study and preparation.

Immersion Weekend
On the third weekend of October, students from 8 different Texas high schools meet in Marble Falls to improve their listening and speaking skills in German.

AATG
Annual German standardized test giving german students an opportunity to win a trip to Germany for 2 weeks during the summer.

Trail of Lights
At Christmas, the German Club and friends visit the Zilker Trail of Lights after dinner at Scholz’s Garden.  

Music
Music has always been an important part of the German culture. The Westwood German club has been very active in promoting an interest in German folk songs, dances, and polka bands..

Fundraising
The German Club has its annual fundraising every fall, where we take advantage of everyone's sweet tooth.
