2010 Transition Dates

6^th to 7^th and 7^th to 8^th Transition Dates

*February 1-5 – Walsh counselors visit classes to present choice sheets to students.
*February 2 – Walsh counselors visit with parents about choice sheets

5^th to 6^th Transition Dates

*February 16 - Walsh Parent Night for elementary schools at 6:00 at Walsh Middles School Cafeteria.
*February 11 - Walsh counselors visit Patsy Sommer to present choice sheets to students.
*February 12 - Walsh counselors visit Brushy Creek to present choice sheets to students.
*February 23 - Walsh counselors visit TeraVista to present choice sheets to students.
*February 24 – Walsh counselors visit Old Town to present choice sheets to students.
*February 25 - Walsh counselors visit Cactus Ranch to present choice sheets to students.
*March 8 - All choice sheets due to counselors.

Attention 8th Grade Parents and Students

March 2 - 6:00 - 7:00 - Please join us for a question and answer session regarding 9th Grade Choice Sheets and 4 Year Plans on March 2nd from 6 pm to 7 pm. Counselors from SPHS and RRHS will be in attendance as well as WMS counselors.

March 9 & 11 - 8th grade students will register for high school courses during their US History classes. Parents are welcome to attend your child's registration session in the upstairs computer lab room 562 during their assigned date.

SPHS registration will be on March 9 during your child's US History class.

RRHS will register Fauver's classes on March 9.

RRHS will register Grubb's classes on March 9.

RRHS will register Telfer's classes on March 11

Attention 8th Grade Parents and Students attending Round Rock High School

Schedule of events for RRHS's 8th Grade Parent/Student Orientation and Elective/Organization Fair on Monday, March 1, 2010.

March 1 - 5:00 & 7:00 p.m. - Identical Parent Orientation meetings will be held in the cafeteria regarding choice sheets and 4 year plans. At the same time, 8th grade students will "Meet the Dragons" (current students) for a panel Q & A session in the Lecture Hall. (Parents and students only need to choose on of these sessions to attend. The same information will be presented at both meetings.)

March 1 - 5:45-7:00 p.m. - Elective/Organization Fair will be held in the Student Center in the 100 bldg. There will be displays by numerous campus electives and organizations, as well as stage performances by various groups.

Attention 8th Grade Parents and Students attending Stony Point High School

February 11 -9:30 -12:00 - 8th grade students will visit SPHS on February 11 at 9:30. Permission letters will be sent home on Thursday, January 28. Students must return the signed permission form to Mrs. Tremaine in order to attend the SPHS visit.

February 16 - 6:30 -7:30 - SPHS Parent Orientation Night will be February 16 at 6:30 at the Main Campus of Stony Point High School. The session will be held in the cafeteria regarding choice sheets and 4 year plans. Please note that there will not be a Parent Orientation on February 18th.
