SPHS Librarian receives grant

SPHS Librarian, Kate McGraw, was awarded a $3,000 grant from Dollar General Stores Back-to-School Grant. Mrs. McGraw
is purchasing Playaways, audio books that combine an audio tape and the
player in one device. She is purchasing the required titles for the
English and Social Studies departments.
SPHS student Janeth S. holds one of the Playaways. Check out all
the great things the SPHS library has to offer and thank you Mrs.
McGraw!

Stony Point Reads
Each time you read a book, stop by the library and put your name in our
raffle drum. Each month we will draw 5 lucky winners for great prizes. Prize
winners will also get their picture on a READ poster that will be posted
in our library window.

The Read it Forward Program has begun. Be on the lookout for read it forward books. They will be placed throughout the school.
