Campus boundaries are now available for the 2010-2011 school year.

Round Rock ISD will open Chandler Oaks ES, Hernandez MS and Cedar Ridge HS this fall. As a result, the Board of Trustees has established new boundaries for many campuses. Ridgeview Middle School boundaries are among those that will change. Letters have been delivered to students whose home campus will change to Hernandez Middle School and a letter will go out next week to students whose home campus will change to C.D. Fulkes Middle School beginning the 2010 - 2011 school year. For more information about boundaries visit the 2010-2011 Campus Boundary Locator. Questions regarding transfers have arisen as we communicate the boundary changes. Ridgeview Middle School - February 5, 2010

Panthers!

I want to address my concern for student safety in regards to traffic and morning drop-off, especially on days with inclement weather. Our goal is to have students dropped off safely while not causing too many delays. I see many examples of patience and caution each school day and I greatly appreciate what you are doing. Please continue to be as patient and cautious as possible. Along those same lines, because we have so many cars coming through in the mornings, some of our students are being dropped off near the campus. Instead of coming through the drop-off line, they are dropped off on nearby side streets. I certainly understand why some have chosen this option, but I must say that it causes me additional concern. If at all possible, please try to leave the house a bit earlier on inclement weather mornings. This week we received input from parents and then placed a new barricade in the north parking lot. We are going to monitor traffic to see if it helps the car rider line move more efficiently. Thank you for your continued input concerning this matter.
