Things to Know

• The nurse cannot dispense any medication that has not been provided by the parents. Please make sure to contact Nurse Baum if you want medicine to be available.
• The nurse can provide information about health care assistance to families in need.
• Students are not allowed to take medication or carry medication (even over-the-counter). Medicines must be checked in with Nurse Baum.

If a student does not feel well, we ask that you encourage them to go to the nurse's office for a couple of reasons. First, it is safer for them to be someplace where they can be monitored. Second, if they are in the nurses' office when they are sick they can avoid attendance concerns because they are supervised.
