About Purple Sage Elementary

Purple Sage Elementary School is located in southwestern Williamson County in the hill country of central Texas. Purple Sage is one of the English for Speakers of Other languages (ESOL) sites and a Spanish bilingual campus for the Round Rock ISD.
In 1981, Purple Sage Elementary opened for the school year with 241 students. As of
May 2009, approximately 430 students form the student body. Our school is named after the native sage that has a purple flower. Our school colors are purple and grey. Our mascot is "The Rider" from Zane Grey's novel "Riders of the Purple Sage."
