Spring Education Summit
Presented by the Austin Area Alliance of Black School Educators.
Purpose of the summit: To provide a forum for parents, students, and educators to collaborate about issues (such as graduation rates, low academic performance, college readiness, and cultural responsiveness within the community) affecting African American students in the Central Texas area.
Target audience: Parents, secondary level students, educators, and community members interested in influencing the life and educational outcomes of African American students. School districts such as Austin, Elgin, Leander, Manor, Pflugerville and Round Rock have been invited to participate.
