The Elementary Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (Elementary DAEP) was established in response to the Texas Safe School Act, 1995. The Texas Safe School Act requires districts to provide an alternative education setting for students who engage in adverse behaviors which interfere with the learning of self or others. A student must be at least six years of age before they can be removed to a DAEP.

Mission: Our Mission is to provide students an alternative education program which will empower them to be responsible individuals who successfully demonstrate appropriate social, behavioral and academic skills when they return to their home campuses.

Vision: The Round Rock ISD Disciplinary Alternative Education Program will be a distinguished program where staff members collaborate in using research based strategies to ensure all students' academic, social, and behavioral success.
