CD Fulkes Awards:
Congratulations Matt Maitland -CD Fulkes Teacher of the Year!
On Saturday, May 15, the 6th grade band received an outstanding performance rating at the Texas Lutheran University music festival. This is the highest rating given at the festival and the CD Fulkes Band received it from all three judges. The 7th & 8th grade bands also performed but missed the outstanding performance rating by one. Congrats to all hard working band students.
On Saturday, May 15, CD Fulkes had 6 students whose work and presence were selected to attend the JR V.A.S.E UIL competition at Chisholm Trail.
6th grade choir competed in the Sound Waves Music Competition in New Braunfels and received a superior rating. They also received the "Best in Class" award, which means they were the best 6th grade choir they heard all day!
